1. Open Order Book
This report can show what sales orders are outstanding in measures of value and quantity. It can show when the order is required by the customer and when the order was placed – and the difference between those two dates. If there is other descriptive dimensional data to add such as the order sales person, this report can show you that too. This report is all about showing where the next likely revenue can be earned or lost if these orders are not fulfilled.
This report shows the open orders (quantity and value) categorised by the customer group (camping activist, solarware), product group and sales person (name).
2. Sales Invoiced Last Week
This report can show what sales were invoiced to your customers. It can cover last week, last month, yesterday or various forms of date comparison scenarios. This year versus last year broken down into a monthly comparison, or this year to date versus the prior year to date, are also possibilities. Through these comparisons, you can identify trends or gaps in products and customer groups of which you may have been previously unaware.
3. Supplier Spend
This report is all about supplier spend management within your business. When revenue is difficult to come by in these hard economic times, you can concentrate on supplier cost reduction as a way of increasing your net value. This report can immediately improve your supply chain visibility via costs. It may, for example, show you are buying the same item from multiple suppliers at different prices for no reason other than two different buyers! Supplier spend analytics is a great place to look for a competitive advantage and increase profitability.
This report shows the purchase invoices (net value) categorised by the supplier name (Grossman’s). It has been sorted so the largest spend is shown first.
4. Active Purchase Orders
The Active Purchase Orders Report provides information on purchase orders whose line items have been ordered but not yet received from suppliers. It helps you identify the inventory items that are on back order, and also helps you evaluate your suppliers’ ability to fulfil orders on time and see when the orders are due. All this data is essential to help move your business forward.
This report shows the open purchase orders (quantity and value) categorised by the supplier name, product group (flask, trouser), due date (when is this stock due to be delivered? is it late?) and PO code.
5. Budget Vs Actual
This report shows how well you are meeting your budget for income and expenses. It is designed to help executives analyse key items or customers from the profit and loss statement and the balance sheet against financial plans in order to determine overall progress toward your group’s financial goals. Unexpected results often suggest either problems or opportunities that you can act upon.
