We are so excited to announce that Matillion has achieved the Amazon Redshift Ready designation, part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Service Ready Program. This designation recognizes that Matillion ETL, Matillion’s flagship product, has demonstrated successful integration with Amazon Redshift. Matillion ETL for Redshift is also the top-rated product in AWS Marketplace.
Amazon has many partners but only some products are truly integrated with their solutions. Achieving the Amazon Redshift Ready designation differentiates Matillion as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member with a product integrating with Amazon Redshift and is generally available and fully supported for AWS customers. AWS Service Ready Partners have demonstrated success building products integrated with AWS services, helping AWS customers evaluate and use their technology productively, at scale and varying levels of complexity.
AWS Service Ready Program: Truly integrated products
To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Service Ready Program to help customers identify products integrated with AWS services and spend less time evaluating new tools, and more time scaling their use of products that are integrated with AWS Services.
Matillion is proud to have one of the highest-rated products in AWS Marketplace, and now to achieve AWS Service Ready status. Our team is dedicated to helping enterprises of all sizes on their data journey, and the agility, breadth of services, and pace of innovation provided by AWS supports us in that mission.
How Matillion ETL integrates with Amazon Redshift
Purpose-built to work with Amazon Redshift, Matillion ETL lets users migrate and continually load data after launching from the AWS Marketplace. Matillion also enables users to take advantage of specific Amazon Redshift Spectrum features, including data partitioning, external schema set up, and Amazon S3 components.
Building a tech stack in the cloud with Redshift and Matillion
Companies looking to modernize their data analytics are searching for solutions that are purpose-built and leverage the power of the cloud to scale their operations. In a recent survey from IDG, less than one-quarter (23%) of respondents had completely centralized their BI and analytics teams. However, virtually all respondents plan to tap the cloud for data management, migrate or continue to migrate data to the cloud over the next 24 months.
To effectively manage data in a modern environment, enterprises need to create a strategy that will allow them to scale quickly and cost-efficiently. The new TDWI Checklist Report examines best practices for the modern data warehouse and the modern analytics stack.
