Will you be at AWS re:Invent this week? I’m sure you know there’s no shortage of things to do in Vegas. But there will also be a whole host of event-specific activities, hosted by sponsors – including Matillion. Matillion is happy to be a Platinum Sponsor at AWS re:Invent this year and we have a few things planned. Here are the Top 5 highlights of the week:
1. Learn how Matillion prepares data for Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Everyone is curious about ML and AI. But implementing them to work effectively for an organization can be complicated – for ML and AI to succeed, you need large amounts of high-quality, trusted data from many sources. Sounds like a job for Matillion.
Join David Langton, Product Director at Matillion, to learn how ETL jobs can load, cleanse, aggregate, filter, and join data in Amazon Redshift or Snowflake to give your reporting, ML, and AI teams a head start. Edward Hunter, Director of Business Intelligence at Clutch, will also talk about how Matillion ETL helped his team improve ML outcomes with better data cleansing.
2. Meet the most impressive member of Team Transform
This guy. He’s hard to miss. He’ll be at the Matillion booth several times during the week for photo opportunities and general hijinks. Come meet him:
- Monday, 4pm-7pm
- Tuesday and Wednesday, 11am-1pm
3. Learn about Matillion products and register to win prizes
Stop by one of our sessions at our in-booth theatre for a chance to win Bose audio sunglasses. We’ll be running sessions twice every hour during the Expo. Topics include:
- Matillion ETL for Amazon Redshift
- Matillion ETL for Snowflake
- The Matillion Partner Network and how we are helping Partners to transform their customers’ data reporting
- Presentations by our partners, including Snowflake and InAWisdom
4. Get a demo of Matillion software from the experts
Our amazing solution architects will be on hand all week to give in-person demos of Matillion software. Come see what Matillion can do for your business and talk to the people who know the product best about your specific use cases.
5. Have fun and do good
You’re an important part of Team Transform. Come build your own Team Transform minifigure at the booth. We’re also collecting donations to benefit Girls Who Code, a wonderful organization that’s helping to bring new young voices to technology and Team Transform. You can give starting at $1 per scan. Bring your whole team to take part.
We’re really excited about all that AWS re:Invent has to offer and hope you are, too. Definitely stop by to see us, say hello, and learn what Matillion is all about.
