Matillion Wins 2025 TrustRadius Tech Cares Award for Women in Tech Initiative

Matillion is recognized for driving inclusion, empowerment, and opportunity through Women in Tech program.
We’re proud to share that Matillion has earned the TrustRadius Tech Cares Award for 2025 – this time for our commitment to empowering women in the technology sector.
The Tech Cares Award celebrates companies that go above and beyond to support their communities through corporate social responsibility initiatives. This year, our Women in Tech (WIT) program was highlighted for creating space, visibility, and opportunities for women across our organization and the broader tech industry.
Inspiring stories, global reach
Launched in 2025 under the leadership of Matillion’s General Counsel Kimberly Trull, our Women in Tech program brings together Matillioners from around the globe to connect, learn, and inspire.
“Early in my career, I had the privilege of working with a general counsel who embodied exactly the kind of leader I aspired to be – strong, well respected, intelligent, approachable, and deeply integrated into the business. It’s rare to find someone willing to teach you the ropes with no ego attached, and that experience shaped how I lead today. Through our Women in Tech program, my hope is to create that same kind of support and opportunity for others, so more women can see what’s possible and feel empowered to get there.”Kimberly Trull General Counsel| Matillion
One of the cornerstones of the program is our Women in Tech Inspirational Speaker Series, which this year has featured:
- Rachel Cunliffe – CFO of Summize, who shared her 20-year journey through finance and operations in global start-ups and private equity-backed organizations.
- Laura Harder – Cybersecurity leader, military veteran, and AI enthusiast, who spoke about the intersection of AI and security, and her career path in technology.
- Julia Hoggett and Catherine Johnson – CEO and General Counsel from the London Stock Exchange Group, who discussed their career journeys and shared advice with Matillioners worldwide.
Each speaker brought unique perspectives and practical insights, helping our teams understand the many different paths to success within the broader tech industry. Sessions were designed to be accessible to all employees, reinforcing that everyone has a role to play in building a more inclusive industry.
Building a culture of belonging
While the speaker series is just the beginning, the Women in Tech program already reflects Matillion’s ongoing commitment to advancing equality and representation in technology.
The initiative builds on the culture shaped by our six core company values – especially our #wecare value – and is reinforced by policies such as five paid volunteer days per year, leave for personal milestones, and a global diversity and engagement calendar.
