Mark Johnston

Chief GTM Officer

Mark Johnston is a seasoned marketing and GTM leader who thrives at taking enterprise cloud products and platforms to market, and building high-performing marketing teams that drive market fit, awareness, and revenue. A software developer at heart, he leverages his own blend of creativity and logic to lead end-to-end go-to-market to accelerate revenue, deepen customer relationships, and scale partnerships.

Mark brings together sales, marketing, partnerships and customer success to create predictable growth engines.

Prior to Matillion, he was Interim CMO and VP of Product Marketing at Domo, a cloud BI platform, having helped scale revenues and moved Domo into leadership positions with market analysts. He also spent 14 years at Microsoft, where he contributed to the successes of the company’s most notable enterprise products, including Azure and Office 365.

Mark is married with two young sons and in his spare time enjoys travelling and coaching his sons’ rugby team.
