"Okay so if I were to describe our data strategy, it really aligns with our business strategy. Our goal is to deliver modern banking with a personal touch, and that requires having a deep understanding of our clients.
So when it comes to data, our strategy is to take all of our information about clients, bring it to a centralized location so that we can use it to provide better service.
When I was brought on to Leader Bank, we were trying to wrestle with data silos, And we looked at a couple different options for how we could solve that and create the client 360.
After a lot of evaluation, we decided the right approach would be to go with a master data management strategy. And so we needed to build a modern tech stack in order to get that data and actually create that client 360."

"So Matillion compliments what we do with Snowflake in that really Snowflake and Matillion is our entire data stack. We're using Matillion to retrieve all that data, so extract it from the source systems. And then we're using it to build the client 360. So it does all the orchestration, transformation, synchronization, everything we need to get the trustworthy record about who our client is. So we're automating our marketing process.
We're finding new opportunities by segmenting our client data. We're getting into more business intelligence and machine learning by looking at these data points and anticipating some future needs. We're also using this client record as a database for automating more operational tasks by building low code apps on top of it.
