Former Google, Microsoft Product Leader to Accelerate AI at Matillion

Frank Weigel takes Chief Product Officer role at data unicorn to power AI and intelligent data integration innovation/growth

Denver, CO, and Manchester, England - 27 May 2025: Matillion, the intelligent data integration platform, today announces former Google and Microsoft exec Frank Weigel as its Chief Product Officer (CPO), as the company continues to transform the way organizations work with data.

Weigel has a career marked with simplifying and democratizing powerful technologies particularly during his time as a VP at Microsoft, expertise he brings to Matillion’s Data Productivity Cloud.

“After two decades gaining experience across both Silicon Valley startups and Big Tech, I am eager to bring that perspective to further establish the Data Productivity Cloud as the most intuitive and effective data integration platform for the AI era," said Weigel.

Weigel brings significant experience in the low-code/no-code space to Matillion, having been responsible for launching offerings like Microsoft Power Apps and Google App Integration.
