Support center portal

Matillion is simple to set up and easy to get started with, but just in case, we have a comprehensive
Support Center for each platform:

Each Support Center portal covers everything from getting started to advanced configuration as it pertains to the respective cloud data warehouse. There are also some moderated forums. And if you ever can’t find the answer you’re looking for, simply raise a support ticket or shoot us an email and one of our Solution Architects will be in touch.

In-client support

Within Matillion, you can access the ‘Help’ tab when you select a component to get a preview with additional information. The preview shows some of the content from the online documentation that you can access  fully through the link at the bottom of the tab.

Support tickets & email

Sometimes the in-client or documented help isn’t enough to solve your problems, but our support team is here to assist. You can raise a ticket within the support portal or email our support team directly.

Contact us at support@matillion.com and provide as much relevant information as you can for us to be of assistance promptly and effectively. Please include:

  • How your Matillion ETL instance is hosted (Which platform – AWS, GCP or Azure).
  • The version of Matillion ETL you are running (see Help → About in your Matillion ETL client)
  • The database you are connecting to (Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • A synopsis of the problem you are experiencing, quoting any relevant error messages
  • Available screenshots of jobs or errors
  • Log files from your Matillion ETL instance (The log file we need most in the case of a serious error is /var/log/tomcat/ catalina.out)
  • Any Transformation or Orchestration jobs you want to share via Project → Export Jobs
