Matillion Named in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Data Integration Tools

Matillion is very excited to be named in The Gartner® Magic QuadrantTM for Data Integration Tools for 2022. This is the third year in a row that Matillion, with its cloud-native data integration and transformation capabilities, has been recognized by Gartner among the other data integration vendors in the world. 

We are very proud and honored that our focus on providing a highly specialized solution for all major cloud data platforms to help our customers on their journey to modern analytics is being recognized in the industry.

Why is this important? 

According to Gartner, “The data integration tools market is seeing renewed momentum driven by requirements for multicloud and hybrid data integration and data fabric design patterns. Data and analytics leaders should use this research to evaluate suitable vendors for their existing and upcoming data integration use cases.”  After evaluating numerous vendors on 16 criteria, Gartner has identified 21 providers to be evaluated in the report based on their Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. We believe the inclusion of Matillion in the report for the third year in a row affirms our goal of providing a more modern, scalable, cloud-native alternative to traditional data integration tools – one that is built from the ground up to take advantage of the capabilities of today’s leading cloud data platforms.

Matillion was named as a Niche Player in the Magic Quadrant based on our Completeness of Vision and the Ability to Execute.  We feel that this validates the comprehensiveness of our products as well as our focus and specialization on leading cloud data platforms to help our customers be more productive as they modernize their data and analytics environments in the cloud.
